Mr. Bonkerz (aka Matthew Lipsit) has put together a lovely, spaced out nu-disco mix for our blog friends over at The Dance Party Chronicles. If you’ve been out dancing in DC at any time during the past year or so, then you’re probably already familiar with Mr. Bonkerz as he is a regular feature at Shenaniganz, Lost & Sound, SND + VSN, and many other monthlies in the capital. He is also a regular contributor on Blisspop where he reviews all-things-relevant in the realm of modern disco. The mix itself definitely ventures into some deeper territories, however, the danceability levels remain high, and we’re really feeling this one. Check it out below.
